Outlook Email Directions

 

1) Go to File / Identities / Add New Identity

 

 

2.) Type in Your Company Name or Name

This is the way that you want it to appear at Login

 

 

3.) Do you want to switch to (your name ) .. Choose yes

 

 

 

4) Display name - Type in Your Company Name or name (This is what will appear on Outgoing Mail)

 

 

5) Type in your email address: you@yourcompanyname.com

 

 

6.) Make sure Pop 3 is incoming server

mail.companyname.com

 

 

7) Type in your entire email address: youcompanyname.com

(DO NOT put your email address in Account Name!)

Type in your password

 

 

8.) Choose Do Not Import

 

9.) Hit the Finish Button and your all done!

 

SMTP Settings:

The SMTP server setting must be configured correctly or outgoing mail will not be sent. (Normally, checking mail will still work if the SMTP server is not configured correctly within your pop mail application). Below is a listing of Internet Providers and the SMTP setting they require
